Bristol M.1

This is a modified Balsa USA kit, 63 inch wingspan, that has been extensively modified: the fuselage has been more accurately shaped, all tail surfaces that were ¼ inch balsa sheet are now built up components of wood and carbon fiber, the nose is shortened by 2 ½ inches, landing gear legs are now streamline shapes with axle spreader bars added, and have axle plates made from Garolite.  Also, the spinner was fabricated from an aluminum bowl, flying wires and turnbuckles were installed and a cockpit was added with a full body pilot.  Currently flown 23 flights.
